Since its founding in 1996, Cheshire County Action Pistol has grown to become one of the most widely respected shooting sports organizations in the region. We encourage you to join us and experience the thrill of competitive shooting.

Safety First

Cheshire County Action Pistol is a shooting sports organization that offers a unique range experience. We operate a cold range, meaning that all firearms must be unloaded at all times until the shooter is on the line ready to fire. We also employ two safety officers for every one shooter, ensuring the utmost safety at all times.

We host a variety of exciting events and shoots, including steel, IDPA targets, USPSA targets, and moving targets. Come join us for an unforgettable experience - we look forward to seeing you on the range

Competition Days

Cheshire County Action Pistol is dedicated to providing a safe and fun environment for shooters of all skill levels. Our 8 stage courses provide challenging and exciting opportunities for our members. We hold one or two competitive events per month and have practice sessions every Wednesday during the summer and Thursday nights during the winter. Whether you’re an experienced shooter or just starting out, Cheshire County Action Pistol is the place to be.
